My husband and I were in need of a puppy day care with our odd, constantly changing schedules. We search the whole area for dog day cares, in home dog sitters, etc. Each one had a draw back from inconvenient / strict drop off/ pick up hours, to over crowded play pens with no rest breaks, to caged in crates for 10+ hrs unless you pay for “extra” services, the list goes on.. then we came across SaMammals.. Within 24 hours, we found her website, talked on the phone, met in person and learned she had solutions for each of the drawbacks we encountered at the traditional daycares— flexible hours, more 1:1 care (cannot stress this one enough!!), more space for dogs to roam, rest breaks, etc.. We were nervous to drop our puppy off anywhere and slightly more nervous to drop her off at a non-traditional facility day care, but this non traditional day care is could not have been more of a blessing and is exactly what our pup needed!! Day 1 we got tons of update texts to help calm the nerves, tons of pictures + social media posts to catch up on all the fun they are having throughout the day, so much love + caring (from outdoor puppy coats provided to tons of cuddles), a sweet thank you note & treats and my favorite part is daily report cards of how the puppy did in various areas & areas to improve on. It’s all the things you don’t consistently get at any daycares near here (we toured tons and never found it)! Needless to say we fricken love SaMammals and will be using her for tons more than originally planned— extra day care days when not needed, boarding, play dates, etc!
