Check-in Visits
If you'll be gone for the day and prefer your pet to stay at home, I offer short check-in visits to give you a peace of mind and your pet the attention and company he or she deserves. Owners can request a particular time frame of the day for Mama SaMammals to visit, catering to simple but specific needs that must be met for your pet(s), including potty breaks, playtime, feeding, scooping litter boxes, etc.
I do not breed discriminate. However, this service caters to a breadth of animals that goes far beyond just dogs and cats. In other words, check-ins include dogs, cats, fish, birds, turtles, guinea pigs, livestock, bunnies/rabbits, and any and all both living as well as non-human species you own as a pet. Indeed, any and all animals must be accounted for in the overall price, for my insurance policy will not cover any emergency accidents, injuries, etc. if a pet is not officially filed as under my care during the duration of one more visits.
If requested, I am happy to complete minor household chores/tasks such as watering flowers, bringing in the mail, taking garbage/recycling bins to the curb, etc. If you are looking to schedule visits while you are away for an extensive period of time (e.g. vacation, traveling abroad, business trips), I only book visits, as opposed to home sitting, if the request covers cat care exclusively. If you are looking to book three visits at the bare minimum each day, I will feel comfortable enough to book, considering dogs (and numerous other animals) should not be left alone for too many hours throughout the day and night. They miss you while you're gone, and merely checking in on them is just not enough to fill your absence. Plus, price wise, check-ins tend to add up if looking to book more than three a day anyways. Typically visits are 30 mins. in length, but either shorter or longer visits can be arranged.

Dogs (>15 mos.): $20/visit for first dog (+10/visit per additional dog)
Puppies (<15 mos.): $23/visit per puppy
Cats: $19/visit per cat (+$5/visit per additional cat)

For check-in visits, our cancellation policy is as follows:
• A full refund is available if canceled at least 48 hrs. prior to the service.
• If canceled 24 hrs. prior to service, a 50% refund is available.
• If canceling the day of, booking is nonrefundable.
That being said, I understand that we are human. Emergencies happen, plans change. If, for whatever reason, you must change/cancel a booking, please notify me as soon as possible by phone, text, or email. You will find I am very willing to allow flexibility. All I ask is that you are respectful of my time and I promise I aim to always be reasonable and nothing short of respectful of yours.
